What is the PTA?

Werrington Primary School PTA is a team of parent and carer volunteers and, as a team, work incredibly hard to organise and coordinate fund-raising events for our school through the academic year.  These include discos, uniform sales, soft play sessions, Christmas Hamper raffles, we work with Werrington Scouts and Guides to put on the Firework Display and the Werrington Carnival, to name a few.

Why do we do it?

All the funds we raise go towards the purchase of equipment, materials and items for the children to use in school. It pays for all the 'extras' not provided by the school budget that make our children's learning experiences so much more fulfilling and exciting.

We are always looking for new members and helpers to enable us to plan and carry out more events during the year.  We are grateful for any help you can offer, as much or as little time as you can and are always looking for new fundraising ideas.
